The bag is named after wine farmers Daniel & Bianka Schmitt whose company values are very much alike ours. The bag marks the start of our vegan collection. Made of VEGEA grape leather, this bag brings together our passion for innovative materials and sustainability. Honouring the roots of the material, the d.b bag mimics the shape of a wine bottle. Its organic and supple shape makes it easy to wear as a crossbody bag and to carry a wine bottle as well as other (liquid) treasures.

We are continuously on the lookout for the next truly relevant thing in terms of green solutions. For the past years, we have been looking into alternatives for animal-based leather and VEGEA passed the test with flying colors. It looks good, is nice to the touch, ages beautifully and isn’t oil based. As wine aficionados, we couldn't help but love this material, made out of grape skin and seed remnants of the wine industry, for our first vegan experiment.

We use Bpost Express for deliveries in Belgium, DPD for deliveries in the EU and UPS for deliveries outside of the EU. Delivery times and shipping fees depend on your location and the amount of your order.

We hope you will love everything that you order from us, but if something isn’t quite right, you have
14 days to return. Contact boutique@liesmertens.be including your order ID & name and we will arrange a return for you.
