A look inside: bag production in the Veneto region

Since 2018, we’ve been working with Venetian Style, the atelier of Franco Cesarotto in the Veneto region of Italy. He founded the workshop in 1997, drawing on years of experience with leather and a strong connection to the local craft tradition. The name is a reference to the long-standing know-how of artisans from the area.

Our first leather designs are made in Antwerp. Franco and his team then refine them in Italy, where every piece is finished by hand. The atelier is small and family-run, with a focus on precision, care and experience.

We visit regularly. To work on new designs together, to adjust details, and to reconnect with the material. That direct contact is essential. It allows each piece to develop step by step, through collaboration and craft.

“Visit the atelier, meet the people, see the work up close. Everyone works in their own way. Understanding that is important.”
